Default Looking for a Dana 35 axle and leaf spring for cheap!!!!

I have an 89 Jeep Comanchee and I blow out the rear axle and now I am looking for either a whole new axle of if someone is parting axles then I need the spyder gears and the housing if at all possible.

Dana 35 ratio 3.55 27 spline

I am also looking for a new leaf spring for the drivers side. If anyone could help that would be wonderful!!

DMCJeeps::: How are the gears inside that axle? Just wondering.. and it will be $150 for the whole axle and both leaf springs? I am very interested in buying these but I just need to know if the gears are in good condition.

And Jeepin35 thansk for the heards up on that leaf spring situation. I was just going to replace one of them but now that you have said that I will make sure that I replace both them at the same time...

I have a dana 44 out of a mj, that I bought. It seems complete. I bought it for a cherokee, but since I have found a dana 44 out of a cherokee and no longer need this axle.
It has 3:55 gearing. but I would check everything out before installing.
I paid $200 and thats what I want out of it!
If interested, let me know

SilverXJ: I would really like to come out and look at your axle and it's gears. Just to make sure that the gears are in good working condition. Also would you happen to know if your upper and lower control arms would fit my jeep?

Budd442: Thanks anyway but I would like to try and get a leaf spring at the same time.. but if I am not able to find that deal. Would you be willing to let me cone out and see it?

Sam: Are you leaf springs still availble? Like I told Budd I would like to try and find an axle and leaf spring set together but if I do not find that deal would you be willing to let me come out and take a look at them?

The Comanche and Cherokee don't use the same rear axle, or the same rear leaf springs. You will need to reweld perches on an XJ rear to fit it to an MJ, and the XJ springs are way too short to fit.

Well if they have the same gear ratio and the same gear spline wouldn't that be okay? I personally don't see why not?

The frame doesn't care what the gear ratio or splines are. It cares where the spring perches are, as Cooter mentioned. If you can move the perches and get the right spring, you'll be fine.
