Default Sold - 21' dual axle trailer

Sold.

Selling my trailer. New price $1600 obo

  • SOA for taller haulers.
  • Equipment rack & basket.
  • 1650 lbs. Hack off the rack/basket if you want to save some weight and gain another 3-4' of useable deck.
  • Heavy d-ring tie-downs.
  • Brakes on one axle.
  • Extended-width deck.
  • Drive-over fenders.
  • Flush mount lights.
  • 7-pin, newer 2 5/16 coupling
  • Comes with ramps. Wheelers won't have a problem driving up the existing ones, but a low vehicle won't make it.
  • 3 different jack mounts. This trailer came with 2 two jacks, although two weren't really necessary.

Some of you may have known this trailer during its previous life as the orange landscaping hauler formerly owned by Fullthrottle. After some time at JCR, it was reborn. Capacity is pretty high - I've had 3/4 standard cab longbed pickups on it (fit with minimal overhang) and it didn't really sag much at all. Tows very nicely (and fast) loaded, bounces a bit when empty due to the spring rate. Can be flipped back to SUA in about an hour. I've heard all the horror stories about mobile-home axles and haven't heard a peep out of this thing in the year since I had the bearings replaced (upon purchase) and its been all over the state (to include the UP) since then. Basically, I don't buy into all the crap people say about them. Bearings are cheap & easy to do. Just keep them greased and they last for quite some time. I've also found that wheel/tire assemblies are all over the place, so you should never have to buy these retail.

This is the only pic I have right now because it was dark and shitty. The reason its sitting so high is because of how tall my Ram is, even with the 8" drop. Once its on the ball, its nice and level. As you can see from the space in the fenders, there is plenty of room to drop it back down to SUA if you have a completely stock tow rig. I have grown to like it the way it is since it gives some extra ground clearance when you're not on flat ground and would suggest leaving it as-is and just invert a small drop hitch to bring the ball up to the coupling.

The price can be negotiated if you don't want all the extras like the new jack, the new ramps, or the other set of axles.

1. Its in my profile, which is where the Marketplace Rules suggest it be. Kaiserplace Rules do not apply here.

2. I made the decision to allow trailers in Vehicles For Sale some time ago (long before I made this listing) since trailers intended for carrying vehicles are better suited to the Vehicles For Sale forum than they are to a forum in which you can buy toasters.

Don't think too hard - I have an answer for everthing.

Oh, and its t-h-e-r-e-f-o-r-e. One word.

Trailer with no extras is $1600. You still get the existing ramps with that.
