Default Jeep Plow **SOLD**

Meyers Plow for CJ

Manual angle

Up and down thru 1 power line from battery to solenoid to hyd cylinder. Cable to cab to actuate solenoid and open/close cylinder.

Dont know if lights work, never hooked them up

Stock mounts to go to stock frame locations on '80 to '86 CJ's, stretched 4 inches to clear lift, could be removed or left alone for stock height CJ.

Custom mount to fit front bumper Reese receiver (As seen in photo)

With a little skill or help mounts could be made to fit about any Jeep with a frame.

Works well for around the house. Picked up a 4x4 ATV with plow this summer and wont be needing this.

$300

Looks familiar........

I'd buy it back, but I don't think they get much snow here in St. Louis.

This is a nice plow btw if anyone is looking.

Yes, it has served me well Jeff.

Hope all is well in St. Louis. Fun town, I have spent quite a few months in Wentzville.

Mostly ICE in St. Louis

Sorry guys,,I dont check this site much.

Here are some pics of the receiver mount.

It mounts to the bumper I made.

The outside attachment points are 3/4"x3" plates of steel that go about 12" back into the frame. I use them for recovery points as well as my tow bar attachment points.
(dont really know if the outside connection points are needed or not,,the "C" beams take most of the load/twist)

It makes the plow easy to take on and off vs the original mount that utilizes bars that drop under the axle and bolt on into the frame.(orginal mounts included in sale)

I only plow my driveway and my neighbors. I imagine if you are a very aggressive plower you could twist the mount,,I have used it for 4-5 yrs with no problems.

Probably an important point unless you are selling the bumper with the plow.

I sold this to Hurf several years ago. It was manufactured by Meyers specifically for Jeep CJs. Most if not all CJs have holes in the frame from the factory that were created for the original mounts so it will bolt right up.

Hurf just made a special mount for quick disconnect as the original mount is a bolt-on.

Any chance this is still available? If so, does / can the bumper go with it? Gimme a PM.

Thanks!
