Clinton had the good fortune to inherit possible the strongest and longest-lived bull market in U.S. history. He also had the solid advice / good judgement to leave it the hell alone. The seeds that Ronald Reagan planted and George Bush tended bloomed and the fruits were reaped by many.

Other than that, name some real, meaningful Clinton accomplishments.

It's amazing how you try to pass yourself off as smart but you are the most ignorant, ill informed retard I've ever seen.

I was playing to Flames . . . The coast guard actually does the job that I would like out military to do which is protect our homeland here at HOME.

It was kinda a reversal to prove a point of actually protecting america and their boats to ships are bad azzz!!!

Hey chief mama's boy. Go to Alaska, jump into 20 deg water that has 20 - 30 foot waves, swim to a sinking boat. Save the crew, and be the last person off. Then tell us about your man card.

Did you mom have any kids she can be proud of?

Yes, ones that are not smart enough to join up for pointless wars. Thanks for asking by the way. So, did your mom have any kids she can be proud of?

And try reading my above post about the coast guard.

Actually, the Coast Guard is playing a big role overseas handling port security.

Who knew . .. o that's righ, you did!

That's cool. A little adventure. If I had to choose it would be the Navy since your base is Floating (well, the majority of them are).

What about the Air Force protecting the skies after 9-11? Or should the Air Force not count??

Sounds to me like the only branch of the Military that you think is protecting us is the Coast Guard, from your first statement.

So that is why I asked you this (What about the Air Force protecting the skies after 9-11? Or should the Air Force not count??)

Any branch that is HOME here in the US is good to go!

Bring them all back and then we would have the man power to do what needs to be done. For instance keeping the illegals out from Mexico and maybe patrolling our harbors and shipping check points.

And many other ways that the next threat against us will come into our country.

Yes, the Air Force was protecting us but if they would have just placed a call to Bush they would have know about the planes before hand on 9/11 and the Cruise missile that hit the Pentagon.

Chief you fail to realize two very important points.

1. the stay at home and perform medial tasks home defense type plan tends to be stagnant in nature and usually breeds boredom and inefficieny with in our troop ranks..it also gives the enemy (whoever that might be) the oppurtunity to plan accordingly.

2. the best defense is an active offense. keep them focused on their soil and they cant focus on ours..
