Default more zj crap

alright y'all,
i have the zj at the shop now getting the frame straightened(for a 1000 bucks/thats seems really steep). i have decided when i get it back and begin to rebuild it to put a lil more beef into the front end . wondering what you all with zj's have done for a solid non winch front bumper, i have seen the arb/ trailready /hansons bumpers which all seem to be way out of my price range and as well my girlfriend is not in need of a winch capable bumper, just more protection in the steel dept. so i need your ideas regarding build and mounting options as it would appear that the stock (flimsy peice of shit) crossmember would need some type of altercation...

as i am sure you could assume this will need to be a semi "clean" design to make the lil lady happy.

oh and where do all you southeast michigan home "fab"ers get your scrap steel from around here? thanx...

well i got the zj back from the shop today, walked out of there with a straightened frame and a new front cross member for 979 bucks even. now i get to start looking for the stuff i need to put it back together...

heres and updated list..

radiator, zj headlight bracket kit/shroud (to mount the headlights in the zj), new radiator support, headlights and grill and a new front drivers fender, and last but not least a hood...

off to the junkyard to see what i can pull for cheap, hopefully..

anyone with any extra zj stuff that might fit this particular rebuild post em up ..have a holler..i would like to atleast have the radiator in so she can start driving it agin while i continue the rebuild and slowly put shit on it...

thanx..maier
