I would put myself in the "Free thinker" category. I am independant. To me, being a free thinker means having the desire to take the time to look deeper into the facts surrounding a topic and make an unbiased decision. Lets face it, the media is traditionally left-leaning, while the Fox news channel is heavily right minded. I would not take the ramblings of Sean Penn or Clooney as fact, just like I would not take the accusation made by the Bush administration that Saddam was getting Uranium form Africa as a fact.

I do find that people who have been away from academia for a period of time tend to look down upon college kids as being ignorant or "green". While this may be the case on accasion, these people are the ones that are going to shape the future of america. Why? Because they have the time and freedom to make a difference.

I would choose Drew interested in politics and the world around us over the two rednecks who were chasing the dude in the beemer saying he was going to get "country lovin" any day. (http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthread.php?t=33055)

Just my .02.

I think it was false advertising

I didn't make him do anything, I'm sure he did it of his own free will (or one of the mods is messing around again :tonka: )
