Make art not war. That is funny as hell right there. Maybe we can gather up all the starving artists sofa paintings and drop then in Iraq. That should make them all want to just mellow out and love their fellow man.

I personally do not agree with the "war" in Iraq, but we're already there and in to deep to just pull everyone out and abandon the people that we are there to help. So instead of protesting to get our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, friends and other relatives out of Iraq, why not start doing something to make THEM not feel so bad about being there. Get a collection of things they need and want and ship it over. Don't waiste your energy holding up a sign that WILL NOT make a difference. Bush screwed up, we know that, and we're paying for it. But would you REALLY want to just abandon the innocent people that have been tormented and tortured just to satisfy YOUR political views on this war? Or do you think it's better to send MORE troops over to help keep the people we already have over there safer and the innocent people that live there safer by increasing our numbers? I personally have FOUR family members over there. I do not support the "war", but I do support our troops and adding more troops will give the capability to catch more of the people that want to do our family members harm. So if you REALLY want to do something to help, support the troops instead of waisting your time and money on NOT supporting them.

I also agree with you. The only thing I disagree with is that I feel 20,000 extra troops policing a country with over 20 million is not going to make much difference. My fear is that more of them will die for nothing. I support the troops but do not support bush. I still believe what I said in another post.

We were policing a population of about 26 million with 140,000. Adding another 20,000 is like adding 1 more cop to the detroit police department and expecting a difference.

+1. Unless there's an established banter between CC and Yogi making those kinds of jokes acceptable, it's just not cool.

Yogi is a hell of a guy.
