does the snowmobile run and are you willing let it go? I might be able to hook you up.

I have an old mower but the drive is belt driven UNDER the engine. if you mount the sled engine side ways you could do it. but most likely you will have to build a secondary drive assem. so it can convert power to the wheels.
What kind of engine did you get? I have a project bigblock mower I have sitting I might trade. its a 16-18 briggs on a little 12hp chassie. it still needs carb work to run right.

If its a Fan cooled engine then I would trade you for the whole tractor , that way all you have to do is get a new carb for an 18 briggs and you will be ready to go. its even got a mower deck(38" cut)

I have a 1977 wheel horse 100a with a new briggs engine and a 38 inch mower deck. The govener is not working right all I know how to work on is engines with 8 holes in it. 200 bucks as is its your. Id even meet you in grand rapids with it. Or maybe I dont understand this thread and you are not looking for a mower tractor. I havent had any beer yet tonight so its hard telling whats going on.

I'll type slow so you can get it.

If I'm not mistaken he wants a tractor to install his 440 Yamaha engine on so he can go fast. I would hate to say its the wrong thing to do, but unless he is a good machinest it needs a lot of parts you can't run out and buy. That is why I suggested selling him my bigblock tractor to lessen the pain of building one himself. it just needs the finishing touchs and will wheely with the best of them.

well now I got a couple of beers in me, I have an MXZ 440 and it handles great I dont see a tractor handling so good with that motor stuffed between my legs no way. thats crazy. It would look cool with the pipes sticking out the front of the tractor. Hammer down, launch that ting off a cleeeeeeef

Got one if your interested...... Not sure why your looking for a non running lawn mower though.... Kinda defeating the purpose, unless you plan on rebuilding it? Anyway, I believe its a 11hp +/- a couple, but pretty sure its an 11hp briggs, Had it running last year, took a bit to get going, but once started ran good, always ran good with no problems. It is a vertical shaft engine though, you're probably looking for a horizontal for the cart? Must take the whole tractor though - want it gone... If you're interested, PM me.... U pick up and drop off 24 Buds and its yours.
