Default SOLD - 258 engine, weber carb. Transmission relisted.

if interested I am selling:

258 engine out of 1987 wrangler. Includes p/s pump/ water pump/ alternater and intake/exhaust manifolds. Engine was just removed and has as far as I know only 13,000 miles since rebuilt 4 years ago. Runs perfect. If you want to hear it run send me your e-mail address and I can send you a short video of it running before I pulled it. $165

Weber 2 barrel carburetor for an amc 258. Has only 3000 miles on it since I bought it 3 years ago. 32/36 DGEV ($410 at quadratec). $165.

Torqueflight 727 automatic transmission from a 1980 cj-7. Shifts good and I think about 65,000 miles on it. $100

I will ship carb. Engine /trans must be picked up in Zeeland. Everything was in use as of 2 weeks ago. All three are still mounted together and I will include my ecm from a 1980 cj-7. I kept the 1980 ecm because it allowed me to run a lot less emission hoses. I also have all the wiring labeled so all you have to do is hook it up and it is ready to run.

CJ's didn't use the 727. Was it swapped in, or maybe you are misidentifying a 999?

According to my book a 1980 cj-7 came with a tf 727 but it is kind of confusing how it is written so I might be wrong. I thought the 999 was in yj's? Do you know how to identify a 727 to be sure?

I think I am mistaken and it is a 999. I found another manual that says its a 999 and that the 727 was used in full size jeeps. Thanks for the heads up.

I am keeping the tcase but it will include the tcase adapter which is for a right hand drop dana 300. I am putting a vortec 4.3 in my jeep so I am getting an adapter to mount the chevy trans to dana 300. I still need the brake pedal.
