Well this is were its at right now.
All thats left is Body work, Paint work, Seat belts, and Sway Bar mounting and end links.

Took it to the gas station just down road and got it up to around 70 and my buddy couldn't keep up with me.

Also any body know how to make the steering tighter. If i turn the wheel it turns but its just feels lose. I want it to feel tighter than it is now.

Well I pulled the motor in it and am going to redo it. (mind you i got it used and Noah never used it. HE IS A GREAT GUY)
Heads were not dont right and the gaskets went bad. Leaked Coolant and the rings need to be redone.
Might need to be punched out 10 over and the crank turn. Dont know yet.
Other than that the motor looks good over all. Also going to put a 700R4 in it(yes i know its not the best trans but I wuld like the OD for driving on the road) and a 208 in it till I can get the Output shaft for the 700R4 or the Input shaft for a Dana 300.
Also going to be pitting a WT 20 in the rear with the NT 30 up front. so the axles will be closer to the same with with my one set of rims

Well I need to put my Gas tank in but waiting on the sender to come in before i do that. Hook up the Tailgate and Spare tire carrier. Then Finish up the body work and Get all the wires put in wire loom so it looks a lot cleaner than it is. But I like how it looks. Just want a Full soft top for it.

Long time since i did anything to it but its time for some updates.

Last time I drove it. Almost 2 years ago.

I blew up the old 4 speed in it and drop a 700r4 in it and its just been a nightmare trying to get it done for 2 years now. Well its getting close.
I pulled the old motor to redo some stuff and ended up swapping it out with a my new motor I build for a difrent project that fell threw on many levels.

In the garage for the frist time in 3 three years.

Old motor out and new one in.

Here it is as of now under the hood.

Got a GM/Dodge NP208 from Mr. Clean on a fluke after i was looking for months. That is now in the Jeep as well.

I just had my buddy weld up the new rear drive shaft. Hope its some what road worthy. Alt least good for cursing down to the Store or good for going out to dinner in.

I will get some pic of it later tomorrow. I took the Seats out and the roll cage so I can put a CJ dash in it but for some reason I can't find one right with out just the gauges.

I have a 700r4 in mine built by Killer B. I love it for street use.

That air cleaner has got to go though... I had one and they are bad news.

Great project!

I had the same one when I first did my swap. The foam started getting sucked into the carburetor with in a week. They are water funnels too lol.

X2. You should stay out of the water anyways. All water does is break stuff.

It does run. I just need help working on it. I work on it for a day and then it sits all week long till I feel I need to get some more done on it. LOL.
I got the drive shafts for it now. Just need to bolt the cross member up and we are going to be almost done.

Still need to redo the fuel lines, Fill the trans with fluid, See if the cooler lines I found in the barn will work out on the Jeep or if I have to make new ones, Need to get the new Hood and grill for it so I can make the mods to the grill for the new radiator and then It will be read for break in and then its off for a test drive down to the gas station and back home.

Would like to get to the Mounds for Thanksgiving Day but I just dont see any of that happening.

Been a long time coming on this damn thing but its close as close can be to being done. I ended up sending to a friend to finish up the wiring and some other minor things I was just getting pissed off dealing with. But I have been in no rush for it up until last week. I need it to tow a trailer in the Hartland Memorial Day Parade.

But here are a few pics from the last time till now.
Motors all done Trans and T-case in with a 1.5 inch drop bracket for the t-case in as well.

Motor

Dash in waiting on Gauges

New grill and head lights all done up.

Well its been back home for a few weeks now and I ended up having to completely remake the whole rear wiring harness. Still need to get my gas gauge hooked up and get some other odds and end finish up.

But here it is as of right now.

Threw up the 33 for sale for something smaller but I may just end up keeping them and throwing them on these rims.
