rob reply to looking to wheel.

i said i was gonna it.

no love2wheel. it was my toyota. i just put the f 150 conversion on it. i musta forgot to tell you.

anyways. if anyone has the spare time to drive by my house on tyler, goahead and stop on by, id love to sit and chat.

ok, this is for everyone. so everyone read.

i am sorry.
if i woulda known that just asking for someone wanting to go wheeling, woulda turned abunch of men, into whiney women, i woulda left the subject alone. please keep reading.

second, sorry about all the chain disputes also. they are dangerous, i aggree. straps are dangerous also. i've seen one break a back window in a dudes truck (it was the broken end also, just cloth. it snapped cause they had it wrapped around the reese, and hooked to itself, makeing the hook be like a knife, and slice the cloth.) even whinch cables can sevor things. the whole part that takes place with extraction is dangerous, and should be taken very cautiously. "everyone stand back."

i will say, that i have taken the whole subject wrong, and have taken this whole thing kinda offensivly, as im sure many of you have also, especially the jeep drivers. whoever said i have alot of growing up to do is compleatly right, i do. experience doesnt just happen. you learn as you go.

i have been reading this over the last 2 days, and have been quite supprised at the responses of pissedoffednes that i ahve been getting. i mean hell, i got someone named rockytop, driveing by my house. c'mon guys, is that really neccesary?

now, 3 pages down the list of responses, i will say, that the only cool thing that i can do is say sorry, and i would love to go out, on a trail ride, at a place that is considered legal. i also realize for you jeep guys and gals, how well jeeps do offraod, and how capable the drivers of them can be. i owe you guys a big appoligie.

jeep drivers arnt the onl one who deserve a appolige either. i owe all of you appoligies, especially those who wernt dicks about it. i understand i was a dick too, but what would you do if someone just started in on you like that?

as my first post outside of the sell and buy sections, i must say i have made a compleate fool of myself, and hope that everyone on this board, who has been here much longer then me, and has wheeled much more then me to know the safe stuff to do, and knows where the spots are to have fun leagly, can maybe one day accept my appolgie, for my foolishness, my dick headishness, and my vulger launguage, and my lack of spelling .

i hope one day, i can meet up with some of you, and wheel, that was the reason for the post, not to cause war in a area where i am new.

that will be all. hopefully it was all read, and understood. if any of you get any sort of negativity out of this message, i would hope that you could possiably email me, and talk about it... cause none of this was meant in that way. im not very good at explaining stuff, thats why i said that.

happy new year to all.

rob.

p.s. i will be posting this as a new post also.

I agree with Toivo here, i give you credit for admitting what you said in another post was wrong. Just because most of us drive Jeeps doesn't mean we don't respect other vehicles. Alot of us drive full size trucks too.

Now, about recovery. This is a very serious subject, and taken very seriously here. There is many people here with 15-20+ years of vehicle recovery experience. I would not challenge them about there knowledge on my best day.

I would sit back, listen and learn. we welcome you to be a part of the forum here. But please, don't come out with both guns blazing, talking shit. It won't get you far. As you've seen already. Everybody is very pleasant to get along with, as long as you're the same in return. It's not all about SWB jeeps. We all enjoy fun, legal off roading. No matter what you drive.
