I put a few miles on it this week and it runs down the road like a Cadilac, tiny bit of bump steer though. Needs limiting straps on the rear to keep the coils from parting ways.

Driving it up the ramp, Pats guiding me, a little farther, a little farther....stop, you just lost a coil

Front end takes bumps really nice. Took a couple sets of speed bumps when I first brought it home...just floated over them like my '87 Cadillac does.

Ordered hawse fairlead and new winch solenoids tonight. So should have a working winch again this week.

we have one on the bottom. The top fits in the factory post(which goes inside the coil)...It's only about 2" long. I think instead of straps we are gong to make the top post a few inches longer so it hard for the coil to slip off of it.

Similar to the front which is actually the bumpstop inside the coil.

yea what mike said, it is the top of the coil

And at some point you might as well limit down travel as there will be no weight on the drooping tire to help traction anyway. Were at that point with this thing.

I like those wheels in black, they look familiar :tonka:

If this thing actually moves and that is not a photochop or winched onto the ramp, hell has truly frozen over...

one step closer to get a working winch. Still waiting for my winch solenoids to arrive. Not sure why Offroad Overstock sent me the Warn winch grap strap with my fairlead??? I never used the one Warn sent me.
