Talking

amc th400, the jeep I traded for has no compression in #3 cylinder and I have many chevy parts, I have found a bop to chevy tranny adapter. I am now thinking I might put my caddy 472 with my chevy 400/205 and 1 ton axles in it, it should make a good trail set up, mudrunner

Why do you need an adapter for any of those combinations? All you need to do is use the correct TH400 housing. If you want to run a Chevy engine, swap the AMC TH400's tail onto a Chevy TH400. If you want to run the Caddy, do the same with a Pontiac or other BOPC TH400 and swap the AMC tail onto that. I assume you're dealing with a Quadratrac AMC drivetrain?

I have a BOPC TH400 available cheap in Parts For Sale.
