Default Thoughts on a trailer

has anybody made a small t-trailer or whatever to hull another vehicle around with. I know dune buggies do have T-trailers, wonder if it could be safely done for a Samurai?

I guess you'd find your balance point on the car then move it around and get the trailer axle so you have about 400-500 lb on the tongue?

I wouldn't do it. Just pony up the dough for a regular trailer, you'll be happier in the long run.

By the time you built one heavy enough for a 'zuk, you would have almost enough money into it to buy a fixer upper trailer. Buggies weigh less than 1/2 what you Sami does, and you have to account for the extra height you would need to get the tires off the ground (including droop). When you were done you would end up with a even higher center of gravity than your rig already has, balanced on two wheels (like a teeter-totter) and no brakes.

Consider the weight transfer you would get to the back of your tow rig whenever you needed to panic stop. Also, consider the effects of a blowout.
