The last one I want in there is Gore. I am sure he will be quick to re-instate that Roadless Inititive he had his old pal Slick Billy push through before he left office. GW ditched it soon after he got in luckily.

I'll go with McCain.

You kidding? Must be too young to remember. Gore pushed some bullshit roadless thing that shut down hundreds of trails in the woods and put up hundreds of gates. We were out tooling around Big Rapids shortly after it went into effect and came to our favorite area of trail to see a new bright red fence with a sign that told us that "This areas has been closed for road removal under the Al Gore Roadless Inititive Program. Foot traffic only." Or something along those lines....it's been a while.

The signs actually had his name on them. What a tool.

i wouldnt. They throw away votes for years that dont conform to the system and its parameters. The system is not supposed to interpret intentions of hanging chads. The rules are the rules all the time, NOT to be thrown away when your guy just barely looses. Ohh well. Best evidence of what a non issue it was, is that at the 2004 election they were still using the same machines and many communities around the country use all sorts of antique machines from the 1940s or older. If it meets election rules then it counts .... simple as that.

Al gore is a baby who wanted a "redo" or a start over like he was playing kickball in 2nd grade.

Until the electoral college is gone, we won't get "true" results.

What about the nat'l Senators and HoRs getting full pay and benefits for the rest of their lives/ Must be nice.

I just live with the fact that atleast MI didn't vote for Bush the last two elections and for some reason that gives me a little satisfaction.

Maybe the US should stage another terrorist attack so they can ride Rudy "the face man" Giuliani to the presidency!

I would expect anyone running for president to espect a redo as you call it if the american people voted for me but the electoral college said otherwise. The american people did not vote bush in the first time the electoral college did. 9/11 gave him the second term. It is that simple. If we werent attacked bush would have been gone just like his daddy.

if, if, if ..... if your grandma had ballz she would be your grandpa.

Fine slam the electorial college, i dont remember a ground swell of support to disolve it UNTIL AFTER gore lost. The rules are the rules, they have been in place for 225 years, the only one wanting to do a switcheroo was gore and his sore loser supporters. The electoral college did it job to level the interests of big states and small states, just like the house of reps and the senate do for congress.
