The 86up (through 92 in IFS pickups) 465/208 and 465/241 adapters are set up for the W-shaped crossmember. In other words, the adapter foot is shorter and set up for the car style transmission mount.

The 80-85 465/208 adapter foot is taller and set up for a C-bushing style crossmember (this crossmember is flat).
