It will not be done.

The wheel spacers that I ordered as "BUY NOW", In Stock two weeks ago have not be shipped. Matter of fact, the ebay store I bought them from was still waiting on them from his supplier!

Well, I got a refund and placed an order for the wheel centers from Dean Reed and also plan on adding a rock ring. I'll be a lot happier than being stuck w/ the spacers and trying to sell them later.

Here's another pic of the steering.
Once tacked in place I cycled left/right to check clearances ... it works pretty good and even the ram is tucked up out of the way.

Bummer Ryan. Looked forward to hearing the stroker again. But I think the last time you heard mine it was clatter clatter clatter clatter. It's a little different now.

How much of this jeep was rebuilt before it went out of warranty? :tonka:
I'm sure Chrysler would like to know how much they have invested :tonka:

Since I knew I wasn't going to make it for the 1st, I took a break. Painted the axle/ control arms/ steering links over the weekend and install half today.

Obviously I'm in no rush now, also since I'm waiting on wheel centers that I ended up ordering from SHAWN at GREATLAKEOFFROAD (shameless plug). $170 shipped, best price around.

I'll have everything else done this weekend.

A couple pics of the tracbar / hydraulic cylinder mount:

More pics:

Here you get an idea of how high the steering is and how the ram is going to mount directly behind it. The tracbar is not getting painted ... it's going to be replaced w/ heims and new tube.

Driveshafts are within 1.5" of each other. I was hoping for a bit closer, but I did move my rear axle back an 1".

Sadly I agree, but I'm sure with my unique style of driving I need to worry more about a cage than axle strength. :tonka:

CTM Racing U-joints

You alway did drive that thing like a girl,,,,,,,your wife drove it hard that you

The build looks nice silver, and yes you do need a cage. Where going to be build three of them this spring after snoblind and before our trip south. 1 cj cage adn 2 cherokee cages, on completly internal, one hybrid iny-outy. We could add one to the list.....

Um. What's that say about Cher-ray? She drives ok for a girl ... she's gonna be mad at you now.

You know what. I think I may take you up on that offer, if you don't mind me just dropping it off to you, handing you some money, going away and picking it up later. I might even swing through when it's half way done and change the design.

Seriously, I would love to be added to that list.
