So, we go out to the barn & it looks just like the pics from last week. And he's trying to tell me he'll be driving it Wed/Thur.

Not if he keeps wasting his time playing hanky panky.

As ghey as it sounds I really was sleeping, it was a long weekend.

I'm looking at driving it on Thurs ... I'd stop by and wake you up, but I think you'll be a little far away for that.

btw, you could have told me that my fly was open.

Stop on over. When I'm not home the wife shoots at anything on the front porch.

RE your fly; I'm comforted to know that I never noticed.

After you left, I walked in the barn and low and behold I left the door open.

Well it works great. period.

Even though the short arm worked, it's not nearly as capatible as the long arm is.

I can't compare it to a 4link, but I have full, "uninterupted" travel (12" Bilstein 5150's) that I could get at least another 4-6" of droop with different shocks before any driveshaft bind.

I didn't post these pics earlier, because they're too blurry!

I still can't get over how cute those tires are.

Finally a couple of pics with the tires off. I had to dismount the tires to get the wheels modified.

This weekend I'll be working on tying in the a-pillar from the cage to the unibody by basically cutting away the floor where the hole is and making a stand (oh yes, there'll be pics)

These upper arms are pipe, but the threaded rod is 1", runs the full length of the arm and is plug welded. I was worried that they weren't going to be strong enough, but they are holding up fine and would be an easy fix.

I still have a ton of ground clearance and will also be modifing a stock tcase skid plate to sit flush between the unibody and crossmember.

Poor rockers.

H1 wheel inserts minus the runflats

Picture of the wheel/tire combo with out the outer ring to show how the inserts work as a "double" bead lock.

I know, she needs paint ... maybe I'll start a poll.

One could, but them really cost me anything, just time. And way cooler too

Also, from what I understand it's difficult to install the pvc inserts without having to modify them and the rubber ones (mil spec) still have the runflat.

These are super easy to install and are actually light weight.

Why? because of the tires?

j/k I seen that awhile back and I'm diggin' it too.

I'm more focused on putting the 60 in this winter rather than the tube work as planned. I'd rather have the axle built in case, by some miracle, I score a new rig.

That's a well known rig over on jeepin.com, I've seen the entire progression since stock. Pretty sick rig.
