Default 4l60e - will it fit?

I tried searching and didnt find a definite answer... will a 4l60e from a 2000+ envoy (4x4) fit in my 2000+ silverado (4x4) and hook up the same?

not sure on engine in envoy yet, but my truck has the 5.3...

It depends on the actual year of the envoy and what engine it has. If it is the old body style (S-series) and it is 01-04? It may have the B85 style converter. All you will have to do is possibly swap tail housings. If it is a later model envoy, the v8 case will swap in, the inline 6 cyl won't without swapping bell housings. If you use the converter from the 6 it will stall around 2400 rpm behind a v8

In 04 gm changed the style of the epc solenoid, but I'm 90% I have swapped them with earlier units and vice versa.

We have a good condition V8 4l60e converter that we would trade for a 6 cylinder version if you don't want that high of a stall.
