There had been some rain last week but the weather was dry for us. We ran some of the tighter trails that they said no one had run all year. Lots of off camber!

Yeah Marv, there are places you can go with a full body. I know Jeepers Creepers was there recently & had a good time. But for the stuff we ran, you would want a full exo cage. I even managed to break my windshield and dent the frame on both sides even with it folded down. Next time it will come completey off. I know John managed to meet at least one tree and Crystal took off both mirrors.

It had rained quite a bit in the week before, and made the trails real slick from what I see in the pix.

Did you guys run #12 and "Kick-A-Poo (out out you?)"

Sorry I couldn't join in the fun, but my back was still pretty screwed up.

Yeah - it looks like you rode only motorcycle or 4-wheeler trails. They were all so thin, you sure they were even trails? lol. When they say Insane Terrain they mean it.

Have you guys (re)-associated with any club, or are you all Indie's these days?

-Tim

Drive from Clarkston is about 6 hours allowing a couple gas stops & sit down meal.

I don't think quads would want to ride some of the trails we ran because there wasn't even a 2 foot flat in the bottom. So, they would be driving off camber too.

We are all indy members of GLFWDA. Not really any club although all but me are former Mud Sweat & Gears members.

Yep, had a great time. Partially ripped 3 flares off and dented the d/s rear corner of the tub (plus tweaked the front fenders).

Cooter takes his windshield frame off each time so he doesn't wreck it :tonka:

I see this http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/attachm...1&d=1164122831 looks like Cooters Hill.

Yup, that was Cooter hill. We went down to the bottom & ran the valley to the left. Got pretty tight and off camber in there. That's where Kevin laid his on it's side. Don't know the name of the trail.

yeah i took a lot of body damage. but there were a lot of place we went into and i could have been more careful and taken a different line but i didnt really care. but for the LWB full bodies i'd probably expect a few dents and dings.

I believe that was Kick-A-Poo that we ran at the bottom of Cooter's trail.

Cooter - I flopped it on my side on #12 on Friday, I could still move backward and forward, but not far enough to get back upright, so we winched it forward and it put itself back on all 4.

I haven't run Kick-A-Poo (out of you) in a long time, ditto for #12- I wish I could have made it out, not too many locals besides Tom and Shawn want to run those trails.

Cooter, would you say that is the tightest stuff? Is there more of it?

I guess I am trying to figure out what percentage of the park is like that.

I had a blast!
