Run them. The pits will hold grease. Most of them use special lube that is a lot like anti seize. They will still be stronger than the Spicers.

If they were tight I would agree. But since he said they were sloppy, there is not equal load distribution.

I still don't know what kind of joints they are. If I could figure that out, I could mic the posts and call the manufacturer to see if it would be worth it.
