Default no bearing axle joints

I pulled the axle joints off the jeep I just bought and not one of the eight caps had bearings.
They were a little sloppy but not that bad. I've never seen or heard of these joints that don't use bearings.
Anyone?

I pulled them because of the amount of play they had in them and replaced them with Spicer joints. I kept everything because I've never seen it before.

They were also held in by snap rings, not C clips. I'll get some pix up after work today.

should have left them in there and rebuilt chances are they are a much stronger joint. Also running full circle snap rings is the way to go

Sounds like good joints that weren't maintained.

They are not Yukons and yes, looks like someone let an expensive set of joints get ruined.

I would consider those scrap.
