You know, I didn't really read the whole thing until after I posted. I change my statement. If you had full coverage you could have a chance of getting money for the parts. But since it's PLPD there is no payout on it.

That stump was offroad. I use a lil more due caution on pavement.

Can I afford a 2010 focus? Yes. Can I afford the insurance? No.
Did I have a choice on getting another car thats reliable with only a grand...slim, so thats why I was being forced to finance one. I wound up getting a low mileage very clean 06 focus that was in 2 fender benders for a grand. Right place right time and already got it half way rebuilt now.

haha Obama Auto Insurance
*paid for be the American tax payers

My current policy with Progressive actually ends Monday, and going with AAA which was deemed the cheapest quote by an insurance agency I went to. Should be $200 a month or less for full coverage. With progressive PLPD was 175. The car I picked up is a work in progress, but its acutally very clean.

I'm already getting $1,000 from her insurance, but that's it. The car was not repairable so I took it right to the scrap yard. They were gonna give me $500 to "fix" my car until I told them for the 3rd time it was a total loss... that's when they offered $1,000.

Why do you worry about the cosmetics of these things? Sounds like you would be a lot farther ahead if you just made them mechanically sound.

Bent and cracked a full size truck frame with a Focus..??.. Sounds like you were definitely speeding to me (no matter what the police report says). You are a liar and we all know it.

You must know it all lol. I think just about anything that side swipes any vehicle is going to cause frame damage...especially at 30 mph. Little under 3,000 lbs of force hitting you at 30 mph to 0 in less than a second... so yes frame damage is going to happen.
