All are assembled in York, PA or K.C.

They do bring some components from overseas (wheels/tires), but those bikes are VERY heavily US contented.

But please......speak more about something you have no idea on.

Thanks for me fore asking a question. Have I hurt your feelings since you once worked with them and you are an expert? Maybe you could give an answer instead (not in 2010 numbers)?

At one point the Honda Gold Wing and Harley had identical US content and labor, something a GW riding friend of mine loved to remind me about.

This was late 90's early 2000's, might be different now.

They did the chroming in York.
They may do some importing, but there is A LOT of US content on their bikes.

So, the seemingly pinnacle item of there advertisement (there garments) are made in China.........
A Muskegon company does some of the frame machining.

You see, I am not knocking them. If I was not tight fisted, I would have a streetglide.
Another company that I lol about is Haas, we have several of there machines. Allot of the pieces come from China, but they brag about being American machines.
I just consider it poor taste to brag when it is not the truth.

Harley moved from being about a product to being about an image when Willie G Davidson took the company public.

Hopefully, the electric bike signals a focus on product again.
