I really like my 89 Glide, but then it's been hot rodded a little so it can keep up with traffic.

However- a Gold Wing is far more comfortable on a long haul. I am glad that so many people want to be weekend bikers, keeps the value up on my old bike.
Having ridden with BMW owners, those are some seriously quiet bikes- the HD electric bike is probably louder. You need to be alert on a quiet bike, car drivers can't see you or hear you when you are right next to them. Nothing like having a Buick merge with your right leg.

If they this is true, and they are coming out with and Electric motorcycle, it begs the question.... Which character on Sons of Anarchy will be riding it?

For some reason, I'm thinking of the scene in Short Circuit with Johhny Five leaking battery fluid

I worked with H-D for multiple years. They have a real issue right now......there customers are continuously dying off. They know this.

H-D has to do something. This is why they ramped up Trike production.

Younger kids are NOT buying Harleys.
They need to do something drastic. The only other thing they have done to maintain volumes has been sending CKD kits to Europe and the Middle East.

Lol fit into what? I wanna know how many times you have posted the word Harley on this forum since you have bought your bike. Bet its a lot

But back to shit that matters. I like the idea of an electric bike, if they get the weight and balance right so it corners well I am sure it will be stupid fast because it has full power all the time. I am assuming it will be automatic which is kinda lame but it will be interesting. I am sure Harley is going to set a huge price tag on it though putting it out of my reach.

Have you ever ridden in traffic? Pretty hard to stay out of blind spots in heavy traffic.
