So if we agree that in fact there is only one God, and the difference si in how he's worshiped, then the question isn't "are you worshiping the correct god?" but rather "are you worshiping God correctly?"

And if it's true that the god of the old testement is the same as the god of the new testement, but just using a different approch to get his points across, then why can't he be the same as the god of Hindu or Buddist or any of the many other religions.

Then which one is the true bible? There are like 80 of them too, and each one has their own sect of the christianity. Roman Catholics have theirs, Jehovah's Witnesses have one too, and probably that asshole Phelps has his twisted one that Sova's site is based on.

So who has the right one because quotes like Sova's are not that uncommon in certain bibles.

I agree in part with your first statement. God of the Jews instructs his people how to live. They don't listen so he comes to earth to give 1:1 instruction. Some listen (Christians) others don't (Jews).

So then the question becomes, if any person (or God) is defined by his beliefs and actions AND a group of people worship a god with a different set of beliefs and actions (revenge vs. forgiveness, etc) then are they really worshipping the same God? What if a new religion arose. With a single god. But those people thought god wanted them to rip off white americans heads, cook them in a big pot and swallow the flesh. Would you still argue that they are worshipping the same God as the Christians because they are monotheistic?
