With large backspace wheels, I'd like to get it back around stock, within a few inches at least.

I wouldn't go any narrower then 63ish personally
In my opinion stock width is almost too narrow

Not to mention much harder to package suspension and stuff. I'd probably aim for around 65" if I were doing it....pretty sure they made some 9" axles and C&C 14 bolts in that range too.

X2
Good point on the c&c 14 bolt
I would look into the tmr 15 bolt kit if your only planning 35 though

Yea, 65 is what I pictured. and It'll definitely be getting a shaved 14B in back.

There was a Dana Super 60 on here that sold, after looking into them more, I want to look for another. Seems like a good fit for me.

Anyway, Tuesday night I was working on my trackbar relocation, and I ended up getting hit in the face with my grinder. Im going to have a nice scar down my nose to my chin. Bottom lip cut in half. I was actually cutting the right way, when the grinder bit, it ripped out of my hands, and then bounced back and me very quick.

With the open wounds on my face, I can't do anymore cutting for awhile. So, Im cleaning... the... garage... UGH. Still hoping to have her finished up, with the new radiator, this weekend.

Ouch!! Sounds rough, but at least it didn't take out your eyes or teeth or anything.
I absolutely despise angle grinders, but I use them more than any other tool in my shop. Any day I can work in the garage without picking up that noisy, messy bastard is a good day.

Yea, I did get lucky. I agree, I have been trying to use it less and less, but some jobs require it. I've had close calls before, but nothing this violent. Im definitely a little gun shy after this one.

People don't kill people. Grinders kill people.

Glad you are OK.

I had one get away from me once and get me just under my face. I walked to mirror to see the damage. It cut through my sweatshirt completely and cut part way through my t-shirt, that was it. I felt lucky.

I have had them kick back numerous times and I always try to be waiting for it and have myself out of the way.

You want pics of him cut from his nose to his chin? Use your imagination. I was cut by an air cutter across my palm all the way across. Cut and cauterized in one pass.

Not that I was very attractive before the accident... :D

My beard covers up a lot of it... but now there is a "part" down the center.

Not as bad as I was figuring. You got a glancing blow.

I definitely got lucky. The blade must have been pretty much stopped. It flew away from me and then bounced back. But it was by no means a glancing blow. It hit me in the face HARD, most of my pain is from bruising. My jaw hurts the worst.

Well I managed to finish the Trackbar relocation without drawing any more blood.

Also, Summit fucked up. I specifically ordered an IN STOCK radiator, to cut down for the jeep... I had an inkling and called... Turns out they messed up and decided its on backorder, so while Im waiting for it, they are sending me a POST CARD... haha wtf. So I canceled it and ordered another, hopefully Ill get it by Saturday, so I can go play Sunday. Luckily, I have a bunch of little projects to keep me busy tomorrow.
