Thanks a lot. Been working on it a lot the past week. Finally got the cage work done. Some more trimming... Painted everything. New trans tunnel. Got my trailer converted to pintle. Started the Trans rebuild today. Working on a custom twin in tank pump setup for my 15 gal fuel cell right now.

Gotta get the engine in tomorrow and then hopefully drive shafts on Tuesday. I'm supposed to leave for Drummond Island Friday morning! AHHH!

Here's the in tank setup I put together for my fuel cell.

It's just a temporary setup, with a fuel cell I had laying around from my racecar. Turned out pretty sweet IMO.

Do me a favor and please finish this project for once!

As always, good work. Get that thing done and come to Silver Lake with us at the end of the summer. That thing will tear it up at the dunes!

haha. uh oh. Its you.

Thanks man. Let me know when you're headed out.

Just finished up for the night. Finishing up the damn chassis work has taken a multitude longer than I thought. Tomorrow morning, Im hitting the junkyard to get some DS flanges, floor shifter, dipstick. Then finish welding the turbo kit.

Then the engine finally goes in tomorrow afternoon.

Anybody know where I can get my driveshafts modified with same/two day turn around. Near Fenton. This is my final worry.

Goal is to leave Thursday night. UGH.

Not exactly local, but you might check Joint Clutch & Gear in Bay City.. Ask for Will, if he's not super busy.. He knows his shit.

If you get the shafts to me before I leave work in Flint, I can get them to Joint Clutch before close.

Thanks for the offer. The rear shafts ended up really short.... nasty.

So I decided to just shorten the rear slip yoke a couple inches. Now I can just run the stock shaft again.

I'm going to switch to a 205 soon anyway. And a little rear stretch.

I'm other news. The jeep, actually looks like a jeep again. I am in the middle of my second all nighter this week.

I have about 40 hours before I'm supposed to leave for drummond.

I had no luck finding a 241c front flange output flange at the junkyard this morning. So I might be 2wd, unless find a flange later today. I want to go get another pair of f-body rear springs for the rear anyway. ~100#/in. Woohoo.

I'm working on the rear shaft right now. Picking up new u-U-joints when AZ opens. Then to the junk yard for springs and a flange. Yeeyee. Then an entire day of wiring. Hopefully start it late tonight.

Got it. Done. Big rush to finish before leaving for Drummond. Actually made it past every issue. Worked through the night. Got it running. While I was idle/Trans tuning. The damn e-fan cut through the radiator. No idea how it shifted that much.

Anyway. After a few minutes of pouting and packing my shit in my buddys Cherokee. Then decided to rag on her a bit... see what she can do. Lol. This thing is insane. Just made a couple of laps in my yard. Shooting 40ft rooster tails in first (Trans not shifting). Lol

Videos are on facebook.

"Trevor McCarthy" in Fenton

Or I'll upload them to Facebook on Monday when I get home.

Videos are worth a look.

Anyway. Ill order a radiator next week and have her back together. Silver lake in 2 weeks!

My trip up to Drummond last week, even though I didn't take my jeep, has me thinking about staying small.

I'm worried I'm going to build too big and get bored.

So I'm going keep it small.

So I'm planning out the front build now.

D60 narrowed
~6" Stretch
3-link w/ Panhard
Tube frame front half
Astro box
Air shocks
Stay on 35" KM2s

Except for air shocks, I like it. How much are you narrowing the front?

I think for the riding I plan on, they will be fine.

I'm a big fan of simplicity, so its between those and ORIs.
..

With large backspace wheels, I'd like to get it back around stock, within a few inches at least.
