Default Why you should never stand close to a winch cable.

This is what happens when you\\\\\\\\\\'re too close to a winch cable when it breaks. Kind of graphic. A nice friendly reminder for everyone on here.

I bought a rope after seeing two cabels break on the same day. You half to be very careful when winching

I suspect that's to hold everything in place till the bone starts healing, and it would also prolly keep everything from moving around.

I had one of them metal things on my right forearm after almost loosing it at the elbow from a boating accident.....they downright SUCK

wow that sux... This is the exact reason i will prob. ever run a winch with cable... Synthetic al the way !
and NO you cant put a price on your saftey !! No matter how much somethin costs, it's worth every penny when it saves your life...

I saw synthetic rope rip apart in November at the badlands, anf it fell right to the ground, it was awesome.
