Oakland County Parks & Rec. is looking at several different parcels. They have met with more than one land owner and more than one township. (3 different townships that I am aware of) Nothing is written in stone at this moment, nor is it approved or a done deal. But there is a lot of effort going into documentation at the moment, which is the help I currently need.

Planning, funding, approvals, land acquisitions, designing, etc will take years before a park is open.

Jim maybe its better to edit your title as it promotes trail/obstical discussion when all we really need right now is video.
Or maybe not.... just a thought.?

In a return email to me he stated "i wish there was a way to verify interest".

Seems to me if his inbox was flooded with video people enjoying wheeling that would be a solid start.

So let's do it!

The frustrating thing for me is that I have been asked to not discuss this in detail, therefore, I am not able to get the momentum going to show support.

All I can do is tell them to research Easter Jeep Safari, King of the Hammers, Bark River, Gravelrama, Jeep Blessing and so on.

I have been emailing back and forth all afternoon with him, giving him my perspective on some of the issues/concerns he has brought up. It sounds like we have a legitimate shot here, i just hope it works out!

I'm going to attempt to send him something. My only issue is trying to make it small enough to send. I'm going to include a link to the Youtube in case it doesn't go through.

Can you send Jon an email with a link to your site with a permission note? That way if you don't have time to sort stuff, he can look at it. But, it would be helpful if you could direct him at the type of stuff that makes sense. We don't need a bunch of mud bogs or rock bouncer stuff on huge hills down south.

I have playlist, the videos are listed by date. I have mud, rock, trails, comps from Drummond Island, Twisted Trails, Bundy Hill, Rocks and Valleys, trail rides with friends, great times in Canada. What is Jon's email, and what do you want said in the email? I'll have some time to send him a few, check out the sight if you want and let me know which ones you would want sent to him. www.youtube.com/unemployedfilms

noyesj@oakgov.com

He just needs written permission from the videographer that the videos can be used for promotion and training.

Anything you can steer towards him would be great.

Start a new email and attach the video file just like you would attach a document.
