Not sure where to put this, but this seems like the right forum.

where can I view the "refered to map" that shows the new proposed boundaries?

And to be clear, some of the camp grayling land is open to the public as shared usage, and I believe they are only "taking" state owned land and expanding the camp boundaries.

If it is going to become closed land to the public, that is a different story

Not sure what the rush is for this. Remember what happened when we heard "We need to pass it so we can find out what's in it"?

I sent an email to the person who wrote the article to see if I can get a copy of the map.

We will see.

any reply yet?

Does anyone know for sure if the land will remain open to the public?

Does anyone have a serious "down side" to this land management change? It seems like it will expand tank trails (which is usually good 2 track trails, assuming it is open to the public), create more fulltime staff in the area, more out of town visitors (training) and more cash to the area in general.

interesting. Our cabin boarders a portion of the base, I hope the land they are looking to transfer remains open to the public.
