Default Reman Trans Recommendations

The E4OD in my 95 F350 has recently given up on me. Wondering which transmission remanufacturers people have had good or bad experiences with. I need to get the truck going again soon, so I thought a reman would be the fastest way to get it going again.

I looked at a Ford reman and it is about $2100. It is pricy compared to others but it is cheaper than a Jasper.

Your buying the warranty, when I priced out my ford reman, it was 3 year unlimited mileage and good at ANY ford dealer. That says a lot when traveling out of state. The small chain tranny shops don't do you a whole lot of good if your stranded 100s of miles out of town.

I checked on ETE Reman and they have the same warranty. Not sure of the quality of them though.

He is my neighbor. I think he is too busy. He hadn't gotten back with me seriously about doing it. Oh well.

I ended up ordering a Moveras reman from Napa. They had their customer appreciation day on Tuesday so I got about $250 off. We'll see how it works. Got 3 year/75k warranty.

I'll second that, he built my TH350 and it's held up to my 468 so far w/o any issues!
