Angry What am I looking at? *name that part from a blurry pic*

This picture is a picture of a 2011 grand cherokee v6 4x4. This is a pic I took by laying down underneath the front bumper and taking a pic of something oily underneath the engine bay. This part is centered in the engine bay. In the pic you can see the front passenger tire for perspective. Any ideas? Should be pretty easy, but it has me stumped. Is it a funky looking engine mount?! It was leaking motor oil.

FYI.. The part isn't leaking oil..Oil is leaking onto it. Did you recently have your oil changed? I believe the filter is directly above that...

that's your secondary air conditioning support pulley bracket reservoir system johnson rod, and it is supposed to be oily.

Looks like it might have something to do with the front differential.

@firehawk ... She wants somebody to tell her the problem, not somebody who knows how to write a check to somebody that knows how to tell her the problem.

You have an axle seal leaking. The mount you are looking at is actually the mount for the front diff. The seal is just above and has a tendency to leak onto the mount.

I once dated a chick with a leaky axle seal. Cost me $50 to get my passenger seat steam cleaned.

You could have bought some Betty Boop seat covers for less than that!

So survey says, it's not concerning. So I should buy this jeep, huh? This is the only flaw I could find.
