In other words, the FDIC, and now the DOJ, are trying to demonize gun shops by causing banks to view legal firearm dealers as no different than pushers of “ponzi schemes” and “get rich products,” two “high-risk” activities that are also listed in the bulletin.
Does this mean they will target the Federal Reserve ? After all, The US Dollar is the largest ponzi scheme in the world.

So a bank can refuse services to someone engaging in a legal activity on "moral grounds", but a baker or photographer can not refuse to provide services to a homosexual couple on "moral grounds"?

Yeah, this is fucked up.

My great grandma use to hide her money all over her house, and never trusted the banks. I use to think she was bat shit crazy for doing that and other weird things. Now its starting to make complete sense.

You know somethings wrong when Immortal starts a political thread and I agree with the majority.

To answer the original question of "How does our government allow people like Eric Holder to keep a their job?", the answer is that the majority of people in this country don't give a shit about anything that is going on in this country anymore. Most are oblivious to anything beyond what is going on with their iPhone. As long as the promises of free stuff and punishing the "evil rich people" keep being made to them, the fed is A-OK with them. And if by chance they do hear anything about current national or world events, they only hear what the state run media tells them, and they immediately believe everything the talking heads pump into their brains, without attempting any research for the truth at all. Try to talk with anyone today about any issues, and the response you are likely to get is "Fast And Furious? I love those movies! Man, that sucks that that Paul guy died in that car crash", or "Benghazi? We've known for over a year that nothing happened. We don't need to rehash that AGAIN!", or my personal favorite "Our president is doing a really great job, considering the mess that BUSH left him". The fed relies on the populace to be ignorant and apathetic to get away with whatever it wants.

No, you did not fix anything. In fact, you've shown what it broken about politics in this country. By making the discussion about “Obama’s agenda” we can no longer agree that a particular policy is wrong and work together to change it. Now, the discussion devolves into the typical, us against them, for us or against us partisan bullshit. You've played perfectly into the hand of those in power. You've become nothing more than a shill for the right. They want us standing on opposite sides of the street waving signs about how much we think the other side sucks, rather than finding common ground. They know if they can keep us divided they can continue to rule over us. That’s the true “agenda”, and you're helping it along.

Guess you haven't noticed the "Our way or the highway" attitude from the Democrats (the "those in power" that you speak of) that we've been enduring for the last 6 years. Common ground to them is pretty much "give us what we want, or we'll destroy you with the help of our trusty media buddies". You also haven't notice, I guess, that both sides ("D" and "R")are pretty much interchangable these days. And anyone that comes along with any actual sensible solutions to the nation's problems are promptly ridiculed and vilified by the Status Quo on both sides.

I most certainly have noticed those things. And by "those in power" I mean the likes of Ted Turner and Rupert Murdoch and George Soros and others who have made billions while convincing the masses that they are one their side, not the puppets in office that they control.

OK, but it is how many people think. And yes, there were many people on the left that did the same when Bush was in office.
