Default Dodge Nitro

I know there are a lot of car industry folks in here. Are there any glaring issues with first year (2007) Dodge Nitros? My wife is looking at one today. It sounds like they are Jeep Liberty's with different body panels.

Thanks.

One of the guys at work had one. He traded it in when the AC compressor literally went up in flames.

I think they are sweet, but have no technical experience with them. Pretty much a Libby that looks sweet, but has no low range.
