Default 2000 grand shutting off

ok I have a 2000 grand Cherokee that im having a problem with. lets start with saying that this jeep is the 4.0 with the auto and has 198000 miles on it.
yesterday when I got off the xway after driving for 30 min I pull up to the stop light and the jeep just dies on me. I throw it in park and it fires rite up and I drive off. then about 1/4 mile down the road it starts to lose power slowly and I can hold it to the floor and it don't change anything. it did this four or five times before I make it home.
once im home I can start it up and it will run great for 30 sec to ten min and then it will bog down and die.
any ideas? .......................................i m trading it in as soon as I can get it to run long anuff to make it to the dealer

Fuel filter clogged?

Try hooking up a fuel press gauge.

Could be the computer is going bad. Kinda sounds like the same issue I had with an 01 WJ. It would start right up every time but then die right away no matter how far the gas was pushed down
