If you have a SOS licensed vehicle then you only need a sticker if you are at places such as Silver Lake, Drummond Island, Saint Helen Motor sport area or Mounds. You are not required to have one for seasonal or forest roads.

I am so glad we went to this two sticker program. Not only is it more expensive which is exactly what we needed, we now get to run two stickers. It been years since we have had a price increase as well as a change to the ORV sticker, so we were well overdue. I know I can speak for the rest of you when I say I can't wait for the next increase. Maybe it will only be in 2yrs. Here's to keeping our fingers crossed!!! Hopefull they get their heads out of their ass and bump it up to a cool $100 a piece and get rid of the whole you don't need a sticker if you are plated BS.

I know you are supposed to put them on rear fender of a bike, but two big green stickers looked dumb on there. I put them on my forks just under top triple clamp.

I see this is an older thread...but:

For a plated vehicle to get into the dunes, do I just need an ORV and the Recreational passport? Or do I also need to get the $10 ORV trail permit? This is for Silver Lake Sandunes only....not going anywhere else.

Buy them at the dunes. They will tell you what you need.

You will need both parts of the ORV Permit/Trail permit sticker thing, plus the recreational passport

Should be about $47 in all
