Default Advice on what these engines/parts are worth

OK, I'm not much of an AMC drivetrain person, so I'm looking for opinions on what to ask for some stuff. Keep in mind I'm not looking for top dollar, just some honest opinions on going price.
Engines....
(2) complete carb to oil pan 304's. Also have bellhousing for manual transmissions attached to them
(2) 360 shortblocks. 1 360 shorblock is all assembled. 1 is apart, but the block, pistons/rods (I believe crank and pan too) are there.
All of them would need a rebuild. I would not consider any of them a drop in and run.
Transmissions...
4-5 manual transmissions. I don't know if they are 3 or 4 speed transmissions, or where to look for casting numbers (I can look if I know what to look for though)
Misc....
3 used sets of outside frame headers. 1 new pair of outside frame headers. 1 used set of inside frame headers.
Any input is appreciated

The engine's I'm not sure, but they are V8s so still have some value. Depends on the condition of the engine, I usually see complete running 304s/360s run from $250-$600. If they are rebuild cores as you said, $100-$250 maybe?

Transmissions all depend on the model. 3 speeds are not much value unless someone is replacing a broken unit. $free-$50

4 speeds are either valueable (T98, T18 truck type, sometimes a T176) or can't give away (SR4, T4).

I would guess headers are $50-$150 depending on condition.

I know there are still people out there using AMC parts, but I have bad luck on this board selling CJ parts. I think a lot of the CJ / AMC guys are more old school and not online so much.

Thanks.
I think I will drag everything out, try to figure out for sure what all the transmissions are, and try to get $400 for the whole lot, unless all the transmissions are worth something

if there is a t18 casting #t18-1x 13-10-065-9xx or a t150 casting #260xxx I would be very interested. BTW I am a AMC jeep guy but due the high cost of rebuilding an AMC engine I was forced to put a 302 Ford in it

Look on the right side of the 4-speeds and see if there is a code tag. If so, look for a 5359389 to indicate a T-177, or a 5359390 for a T-176. Quite a few old men like me are interested in the T-177, though I have two already.

Engines are a bit tougher. If you are really interested:

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f8/id...ngine-1383352/

The 70 and 71 GEN-3 Tall Decks produced more HP, so they are of interest to some. I have a spare engine that is a GEN-2 290 Short Deck that produces more HP than a 72-up 304. The big difference was the compression ratio. There are other ways to increase the compression ration, but some purists like the old engines that were designed that way.

As us "Old Men" get older, we look for these little things from our youth, but it is a select market. Most of us have acquired what we need, and just struggle to keep what we have going.
