Undoubtedly that guy could make a hell of run. Hillary couldn't blast him.. that'd she'd be portrayed as an Arkansas redneck racist.. I'd really like to see a Rand/Carson ticket, but I don't see either accepting a VP spot.

I hope the conservative voter doesn't look past this midterm election. It could be more important than the 2016 election.

The midterm is really the most important election of all of our lifetimes. It's our last chance to stop the bull shit before it gets REALLY bad.

We all know that our government is extremely corrupt and we just deal with it instead of doing something about it. It's a pretty sad thing.

As long as Walmart can help them 'live better', the general non-thinking public is fat n happy. They see no reason to change.

I don't think there's a good Republican out there.

Philosophically, I like Rand Paul. The media (who are totally in the tank for Hillary already) will make him out as a far-right nutcase and he's provided a lot of ammo for them.

Romney is the smart choice (just like last time) but I don't know that he'll even try.

Christie is a RINO - good riddance.

Bush is a "big R Republican" like Dubya, but not a conservative. Big government fan, and is too soft on illegal immigration. Besides, nominating Bush guarantees a Clinton Presidency; too much baggage.

Cruz has potential, but needs serious media coaching. Republicans are still rank amateurs at leveraging and manipulating the media as compared to .

Pastorum needs to go away and stay there. Take Hukabee with him.

I liked Huntsman, but still see him a more Republican than conservative. He may be centrist enough to make it work. Maybe a Romney/Huntsman ticket?

Palin does a good job helping others raise funds, but needs to step away from national office. Too polarizing; the media has succeeded in poisoning her.

Paul Ryan is another centrist Republican who leans conservative. Maybe a Ryan/Cruz, Cruz/Ryan, or Ryan/Paul ticket?

Billary dont have to bash him. Every black democrat will call him an uncle tom.
him with a solid female vp candidate would be hard to beat. He is an eloquent speaker, and very smart. He will make any dem candidate look ignorant in a debate.

I like the guy too. I'm generally middle of the road so seeing a guy like him or Carson show up is refreshing.

Romney is the smart choice (just like last time) but I don't know that he'll even try.
I'd love to agree with you, but no he's not. You might as well vote democrat, he's a wasted vote.

Christie is a RINO - good riddance.
He would be my third pick. I don't see the bridge scandal hurting him as much as people think. I would still pick Rand or Carson over him though.

Bush is a "big R Republican" like Dubya, but not a conservative. Big government fan, and is too soft on illegal immigration. Besides, nominating Bush guarantees a Clinton Presidency; too much baggage.
The name disqualifies him before he even runs. All they ahve to do is paint him like his brother and his dad and he's done.

Pastorum, Hukabee, Huntsman and Palin all need to be lumped together along with Bachman. They're a throw away vote. Yes they may have good values, but the public won't let them near the White House.
Paul Ryan is another centrist Republican who leans conservative. Maybe a Ryan/Cruz, Cruz/Ryan, or Ryan/Paul ticket?
Paul Ryan is a RINO now. After he almost lost his seat by a couple of hundred votes he saw the light. You can't shit on your constituency (his being farmers and his mom) and expect to get anywhere. He's too afraid of making a mistake so he'll cave to anyone who stands up to him.
Here's my take on things. Being there might be a straw pole out here at the Iowa state fair this year (which really means nothing) I get to see all these guys on the TV.

This.

Christi is one of the worst RINOs out there and if he gets elected as President we'll just be trading Chicago crime in the Oval Office with New Jersey crime. No bueno.

I like Dr. Ben Carson and I believe he should run. He's not a fan of guns at all but if Obama couldn't get anything passed I doubt he's going to either so I consider that a non-issue... especially since the rest of his ideology is what this country has been needing for a LONG time now. He might not make the best President we've ever had but he's definitely the one we need right now.

Not a fan of Hillary by any means, but with the media in bed with her (sorry for the image) I can't see anyone with a reasonable chance of beating her. Far too many sheep at the polls.

I'm going to try and not pay attention at all. I might once they outlaw lobbying.

Don't forget, they are all corrupt and your vote doesn't count

I wish it mattered, I would vote for Rand Paul

I will not vote for him for this reason alone. Gun rights is one of our most precious rights.

He has changed his stance on guns.

he was never ainti gun. He was pro gun registration. I know many of you feel they are the same.
we all have registered hand guns, no one has come to my door Asking me to turn it in. Im not pro gun registration!
I can see why the average non gun owner might see this as a good policy, Even though its probably not.

He has changed his stance on this due to our high debt, and his belief that gun registration would lead to mass confiscations during a time of martial law from economic collapse. Which he feels is a real possibility.

I dont see this as a negative on him.
i see that as a smart man that re-thought his position on a given divisive topic, because our world is now a different place than it once was.
that tells me he able to see both sides of a topic.

Find me a smater, more conservative candidate, I will check them out.
its our only winning ticket so far.

This is probably pretty off base but I believe that that gelatinous fukc Christie played a part in Obama's re-election. If you recall, the hurricane hit just before the presidential election. I think the only time Christie took his mouth off Obama's dick was to eat a doughnut and find a microphone to praise Obama. When in reality, Obama did nothing except show up for a little bit, then continue campaigning.

Even that MSN host said something along the lines of "Thank god for hurricane Sandy"
