For Sale/Trade: 1995 Ford F150 4x4, Eddie Bauer Edition
I will update with more (and better pictures) shortly!
1995 Ford F150 4x4, Eddie Bauer Edition
Located in Traverse City
Below is a quick rundown on everything with the truck.. Most of the questions you have about it should be answered, if not, feel free to ask me anytime! I'll apologize ahead of time for the extremely long and thorough ad
Strong 302, 5.0L engine, has good compression (Info on miles below)
Few newer parts scattered about
Truck runs cool
No knocks or any alarming noises
Trans is an automatic and shifts perfectly fine
4x4 works great
Newer manual lockers
Electronic shift into 4x4 (I have yet to test to see if it works, I've always manually locked if I ever needed it)
Dana 44 axles
Brakes work great
Heavy duty suspension
Duel gas tanks, the main tank (rear) is brand new and still on it's first tank of gas
All fuel and brake likes check out
Current tires on it are oversized
Overall a very mechanically sound truck and reliable. Wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere.
Not too much rust, the most of it being on the tailgate (I never had motivation to replace it)
Few scratches, but nothing more than you'd expect from a '95
No major dents other than the rear bump, just the usual door dings
The rockers and fenders are in good shape and have been sealed and painted over with a quality bed liner
Under the truck is in much better shape than you would think, nothing rotten
Bed isn't rotted out and has been protected by a bed liner most its life
All lights work and the truck has some nice bright headlights!
The body and chassis of the truck are in great shape; nothing stands out as an eye sore. It's quite impressive for being a Michigan 4x4.. Easy to see it's been cared for.
Never smoked in
Power locks, windows, anti theft, mirrors and seats. All of it works!
Aftermarket stereo, speakers all work very well
Front bench seat with folding center console, rear seat is a bench as well
Small tear in drivers side seat
Few small cracks in dash
Cruise control works
Electronic fuel tank toggle
Interior of the truck is pretty clean and having all the power options available working makes the truck that much more comfortable.
Small oil leak. It's not large or concerning, but it's there... Truck has the infamous Ford exhaust tick... Check engine light will come on for the EGR Valve. I've owned 3 older Ford trucks and they've all had this issue. The light goes away every time you shut the truck off and will show it's face (if at all) after about 20 minutes of running.
The miles... The truck has been rebuilt/overhauled roughly 70,000-75,000 miles ago. I am listing this as a "bad" simply because I can't prove it. The only proof I do have is by how well the truck runs and sounds! The body of the truck has 260k, but you'd really never know by looking at it. Take it for what you will, still a great running truck!
Overall, the truck is in good shape, especially for the year. All power options work, heat works, 4x4 works and it doesn't look half bad. It would make a great daily driver or something to cart you around during the winter months. I'm only selling because it is now a 4th vehicle in my household I no longer have use for it. From my understanding, I am the 3rd owner of it, the first two being all in the same family. If you run a Kelly Bluebook value on the truck with all of it's options, you will come to find it books out to $4,600 in "Fair" condition (even if you punch in 300,000 miles) and all the way to $5,600 in "Excellent". I would find the truck in the middle of those parameters, but I also think that value is a tad high in my opinion! So, I'm asking:
Or I'm interested in trading. Trade value I'd put at $3,600
I'm open to most trade offers, but please, when offering a trade, if your value does not meet mine, I may ask you to add cash (or something) on top... Just as you would ask me to do the same if my truck value didn't quite meet yours! Thanks!
Not interested in boats or campers, sorry folks. Interested in sports cars, muscle cars, classic cars, ratrods, quads, motorcycles, sandrails.. or just about anything fun, so please feel free to offer. However, I will only consider nicer and newer sleds... If trading a motorcycle, please remember it is going to be winter soon!
That's all of it! If interested, please call or text me anytime. You can email too, but I might not get to you as quickly if you just call/text. If I don't answer when you call, leave a message and I'll get back to you very soon.
