My co worker has a lifted TJ Rubicon and many times at Sno-Blind my stock 97 4Runner and other stock IFS Yotas that I have driven went thru places that have given him trouble and caused him to pull his winch cable out. Mostly I think it has to do with his tire selection & driver ability. I wouldn't take my 4Runner to the Mounds or go rock crawling with it. I have other vehicles for that. I used to take a lifted & locked EB to Sno-Blind now I find the 4Runner does just as well in that type of terrain and most of the wheeling I do anymore

Be careful using this tactic. You will be beat by experience.

Having owned a few different 4x4's with both ifs and a solid front axle, stock for stock, all of the articulation has been about worthless. That part of the argument is the ghey. Almost as gay as rockstars wrapped in turd grapplers.

I know a few guys that beat the snot out of a 2.5 with one tons and they kept coming back for more. The old I6 is honestly all anyone really needs. You can say that jeeps are underpowered, but they aren't race cars like your yota.

I'm almost 6'1'' and pretty chubby and I have no complaints with fitting into my jeep.
