If you can swing it, grt the '12. The 3.6 is a far better motor amd if you get the auto the 5 spd is better as well.

Front axles have weak tubes and crab ball joints. Tie rod and drag link are very weak tube. Otherwise pretty decent

most 3.8L v6's burn oil(1 quart every 750 miles is considered normal by chrysler).

hold out for the 3.6L, considerably more power!

hahahaha. Doesn't he sell these?

In 2011 the new interior came along, which is quite a bit nicer. In 2012, the new motor and trans came along.

2011 does not have 3.6... I have one.

I've been lucky with the oil burning thing. Mine didn't seem to use any!

The oil burning problem was mainly in the earlier (07-08) 3.8, but, as mentioned, the 3.6 makes a lot more power so you might as well go 2012 or newer. My 2010 3.8 is a turd but so far it's been a reliable turd.

The earlier run of the 3.6 had some issues with bad cylinder heads. Tons of info about it on the internet if you're concerned and want to research it further, but it wouldn't send me running.

Just confirmed... later 2011 Wranglers had a 3.6, but as stated above had some issues.

I'm not trying to pile on you like most people but please show me ONE build sheet from a 2011 with the 3.6 in it and I'll buy you a case of beer.

First of all that's not a build sheet. Second, the 3.6 only came with the new five speed auto, not the four speed. If someone can run that vin it may help your case.......or hurt it.
