They pay per letter for their sign, and it's a big sign so they have to recoupe their cost some how.

This. Only exceptions are a recall, warranty, or insurance claim.

When you were too drunk and too lazy to fix it yourself.

There are other fixes included in that rough price that pertain to vent doors not opening and closing like they are supposed too!!

Got quoted $1500 for my wife's 98 Durango. Was a real pain in the ass but worth saving the money and did it myself with a 12 pack.

On a similar note, that's what has to happen to fix the problem with my 2002 Blazer. No heat from floor vents. Only panel and defrost. Gotta rip it all apart to get to the actuators. Firestone quoted me $800-$900. I think the dealer would be at least $1000. I toughed it out this winter, but it's going to need to be fixed before next winter if the vehicle lasts that long....

Yea remove dash and reclaim a/c system, love doing them.the stops for the actuators that are built into the case brake off. So they need a new case most of the time

Zero issues with the dealership.
Wife said it's actually the best one she has ever dealt with.
It's also there for its 5 year inspection for the lifetime drivetrain warranty.

I was going to ask if you'd bought it new. There has been some reports of blend doors and heater cores going out.
Most with the heater core at some point somebody added the wrong coolant. 5 years is also change time for original coolant. Had my coolant done in January on my 08

Yep... and they suck. Had to remove the front seats, center console and dash.

My dad is the pastor at the United Methodist Church in Richmond. He's shown me the owner's (of the dodge dealer) block. He literally owns a city block.

Sent with my fat fingers on a small phone
