It looks like you can order the press in one caliber. To load another you need to buy the shell plate and die set.
I wished i knew more about the lee's we sell the Dillon"s at work and I know them well.

I just bought a lee 1000 in .40SW.
I just loaded 500 rd with it. I did not sit down the whole time because I was constantly adjusting the turret travel, removing bent primers, verifying powder fill, etc. it was not confidence inspiring and I do not trust it. I could use my Dillon in the dark and take that ammo to battle with more confidence. Keep in mind, I only load straight-wall pistol ammo on a progressive- I can not imagine trying to size .223 while "feel" for proper primer press, etc and feel good about it. I was taught to load bottleneck on a single stage, one operation at a time- progressive is for bulk 9 and 38 in my house.

I do tend to run them through to resize first then do the reloading... but I can't complain about the Lee 1000.

Most people seem to have a bad case of PEBLAC (problem exists between lee and chair).
