Would have to see it in person, but I am not all that impressed. However, I do like that gray interior with the brown accents (Free Fall, I think they called it?). Two 4 cyl options...and the only two engine options? Personally, I wouldn't choose either one. But that's just me I guess....my tree hugging is at an all time low these days when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Really would have to see it in person, but when they compare it to the two ugliest vehicles on the road since the Pontiac Aztec (the Soul and the Cube), I don't really have very high hopes. Maybe lifted and put on 33's will help it out a bit?

I've been a Jeep addict since I could say the word, but Jeep just continues to disappoint me the last couple of years. Fiat seems to be quickly becoming the worst thing to happen to Chrysler, since, well...I dunno. I wish Jeep would just suceed [sp?] from the Chrysler Union already and branch out to do their own thing. They'd be better off at this rate.

Feel the power!
Expect 160 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque from the 1.4 engine, while the larger 2.4-liter offers 184 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque.

Historical fact.
1980 v8 304 had 125hp

Put the turbo on the 2.4...maybe then there would be something worth releasing to the general public outside of tree-hugging California. Ooh...twin turbo. That would be even better.

Looks like its trail rated !

and unpretty (for da young yupper masses)

square off bottom of headlamp/grill, would give it some early xj feel
(dump the bug smile fo sure)

reminds me a little of the 4 door tracker

if they made a 2 door and a soft notch back it could resemble a sami/geo too

I like it other than the Jeep badge on the front. Slap a Fiat badge on it and I'd probably buy one. I hate when they destroy the Jeep brand like this.

maybe, just maybe, if they made it a coupe, and the plastic fenders were removable to go up to 33" tires.

assuming it is 4wd still.

I'd like to see an AWD Nissan Juke... with a small lift and some beefy tires.

The World 2.4 was turbocharged in the Caliber SRT4 with 285 hp. Should be an easy enough swap. @285hp/265tq, I bet it would be a pretty fun ride.
