No and I have no intentions of doing so, it's a gimmick at best

I read that it was basically as good as the best .22lr ammo and that the test blocks of jelly were way undersized in the hype videos for it giving an unrealistic perspective. If it was $20 for 50rnds I'd go blast some fruit and water jugs with it for kicks.

Just left a seminar where Andrew Branca spoke on the laws of self defense. Good stuff. Go read his book.

Ordering a box of these. Lots of shooters around hear using them, haven't heard a single bad word about them from anyone.

It's time for a new safe. I am likening Champions. The dual deal and stupid high fire ratings along with the fact they insure you contents of ot fails or is broke into I like.

Give me some pointers and do and don't. This is my first good safe. The others have been cheap 1200* for 30 min type safes.

I'm in the same boat I wanna buy a nice big safe. I got a nice walkout basement now with door wall I could fit a pretty big safe inside.

Light weapons locker and a good insurance policy.

Why? Cause 90% of the sub-$3000 safes can be broken into without much of an issue. In case of fire
.. throw the whole thing out the window.

I'm looking at a champion Crown series. It has a glass re lock system, 1 1/2" bolts, 5" thick double step door, and 26 bolts. The fire rating is 1750* for 2 hours.

Serious question, can someone really break into that easily? I plan on lots of extra weight from ammo being in there plus it will be lagged to concrete and weights 1725lbs empty.

I dunno. I like to throw things. I don't know anything about heavy safes.

Now I'm nervous. I don't think there are many options above that outside of a vault door and concrete room. I can't afford that and seriously at that point nothing will stop them. My understanding is it would take a seriously bad ass mofo to open this safe. I don't think even a plasma cutter would do this safe in.

The real question is... do you even have anything that warrants a safe this expensive?

I'm not sure I agree with the 90% number, but yeah, most "safes" out there are pretty shitty.

Also, y'all might like this:

Also I will be getting the safe for a pretty good price. There is a "scratch and dent" sale where I should be able to find what I'm looking for or close to it. If not I am prepared to spend the money. I figure I'll have the safe the rest of my life so buy once and buy right.
