Been in the man cave a lot lately. Thought I would visit and pour powder upstairs. Between the wife bumping the island and the daughter chasing the dog the scale isnt liking it much.

I run them on my Glocks and had good luck . The nice thing is when the tritium goes dead you can move them to a range gun and keep using them. Sights are not a one size fits all item.
Thanks for the insight.

My holster and mag carriers for my HK45 Tactical are in the mail! I can't wait! I actually bought a new coat today that is a little bit shorter so I can open carry without worry

223 fmj machine gun bump fired will fukc up the 1/2 inch thick angle steel frame on your fork lift attachment that is burried in the snow. Intentionally or not.

If it's not armor plate, yeah, it'll get messed up.

Are the "diy" bluing kits/products worth a shit? Some people say it's great, others say it isn't worth a shit. I know process is vital; but can it even turn out looking like a professional job with diligence and care? Anyone have any experience with it?

Not yet. That will be corrected very soon.

Also... take your firearm to a professional to be reblued. It's worth every penny.

That's my gut hunch; and it's actually rather cheap. 160-220 at williams depending upon what finish I go after.

I enjoy doing things like that myself; I have already redone the stock and it's a beautiful thing. Just not too sure of my abilities on blueing(I've never done it) and I don't want the Marlin lookin like two nice pieces of wood with poop inbetween.

Damn, that long. Washtenaw was less than a month for me. I just looked it up. I applied and fingerprints taken on 9/23 and I received my CPL in the mail on 10/18.

Because he was going to pay it off over time instead of dropping a grand all at once. Then the excitement got to him. lol
