Every time me and the wife go shooting I have to explain/remind trigger control. Yesterday was the 8 or 9th time she has been out and she still yanks that trigger like a fucking nerf gun.

Think of it as a backwards HK P7 squeeze cocker. Audible click when it's engaged, well rounded, no pinch points that I could find.

Trigger has a bit of over travel, slide bit me a little.

It's tough sometimes you need an outsider to point out what's going wrong.

The way I explained it to my wife: slow steady squeeze, it should scare you every time. She no longer has a trigger jerk problem.

Well my HK45 can run .45ACP, .45ACP +P, .45ACP +P+ and .45 Super without issue.

Was just wondering if .45 Super would be worth using for a defense round.

If a quality load in .45+P won't get the job done, you've made some poor life choices.

Then you need a rifle. The difference between. 45+P and. 45 Super is pretty minimal.

That's the same conclusion I came to doing my research. I figured I'd throw the question out there in case someone had a valid reason/experience to justify it.

Held the Super Vinci and Super Black Eagle II today. Super Black Eagle is my gun. I just don't like the trigger guard. Looks goofy.

Dude... buy the FDE HK45 at WGS this weekend... I should be heading up there again this weekend... It'll make that Colt look like a Taurus if we torture test it...
