Default Bundy Hill Sat. 2/1

Me and young33 from here were thinking of hitting up Bundy Hill Saturday before the Monroe meet and greet. Anyone else interested in going?

It will be both of our first times out there and my rig is my DD so I don't plan on trying anything too crazy. But should be fun to go check out.

We don't have a time set in stone right now young33 suggested sometime before noon possibly. We were going to follow each other there since we're from the same area, so even if some people can't come till later we could meet up there.

Newdodge, do they sell flag mounts there? I don't currently have one and don't feel like going to make one in the cold. Do they specify where the flag has to be mounted?

Just need a flag. They do have some mounts there. Doesn't matter where its mounted. You could mount it to a hitch if you have one.

Take the ball off and use big washers? Buy a piece of 2" square and drill a hole for pin and another for flag? If you have a receiver. Drill hole in front bumper and stick it there. What kind of vehicle do you have?

My mind somehow did not put 2 and 2 together that most hitches have the removable ball (I always carry a 3 size permanent ball hitch in my trunk maybe thats why?) Anyway, I might snag one off of my dads truck and go that route if I don't come up with something else. I always have a D-ring hitch in for recovery and would prefer to keep it in out there just in case. I was originally going to make a steel L shape bracket to mount using my front tow hook mounting bolts since I will have to have a front mounted flag for the dunes.....but winter just makes me lazy when it comes to garage work.

I have an 04 Grand Cherokee....no drilling for me please.

As of now, it is looking like meeting there at 11. The only ones I have been able to confirm are:
1. myself
2. young33
3. and a member of jeep forum from Ann Arbor who is also a newb to there like myself

Can anyone else confirm if they are in?

According to the site:

$20 a driver, $5 a rider (non driver)
$20 for a flag
$10 for a mount (if you need it)

I will be buying a flag there as well. It is my first time out there, and I plan on babying my jeep compared to what some other guys do out there. I have never met anyone in the group going before. Just looking to go check it out, slowly test my rig, and meet some new people.

Yeah I'd be taking it easy as well, don't have alot of money to spend on broken parts lol. I'm gonna see if a buddy of mine has a flat and mount I could borrow. I look forward to meeting some new guys out there too.

And I totally forgot, for me to go, I just have to install my extended brake lines tomorrow. I have 4.5" of lift with just the relocation brackets, so I need to put those on tomorrow.

I don't know if I'm gonna go. It'd be an hour plus drive trailering my truck. Its still a maybe. If I can talk other people into it.
