Default Axle clip

I have a dana 35 with a Detroit tru trac and the driver side axle clip Is stuck will not come off wondering if there is a way to get it unstuck

stuck as in you can push the shaft in to get the clip out or cant get the clip of shaft.

may be twisted splines so the axle is not being pushed in far enough to get the c clip to release. try tapping in on the shaft with a bigger hammer.

Shaft is in as far as it will go I have a clamp holding it in

I've had where there was enough oil left to make it stick onto the side gears and axle shaft, compressed air and someone taping on the shaft with a hammer seemed to work. Best of luck
